Notlar Ms. composite codex.Title supplied by cataloger.Seal impression on fol. 4a, 147a.Description: 15 lines per page. Written in medium small script in black ink. Dark cream paper with laid lines visible. Interlinear and marginal notes. Foliation in pencil using Western numerals (counting the two first fly-leaves as fol. 1 and 2). This record is in accordance with this foliation.Origin: According to the colophons, this is an autograph, dated 1025 H. (fol. 73b) and 1020 H. (fol. 77b). The dates appearing in the colophons are however more likely the date of completion of the texts (see note on the author on fol. 78a, which seems to be by the same hand as the rest of the text). The eulogy on some marginal notes on the ʻUyūn al-masāʼil ("minhu dāma ẓilluh") seems to indicate that the author was still living at the time of copy.Incipit: [شرعة التسمية] بسم ... الحمد للّه ربّ العالمين حمداً لا يبلغه جُهْدُ الحامدين والصلوة على الرسول ... وبعد فهذا كتاب شرعة التسمية فى زمان الغَيْبة -- [فضل سورة التوحيد] بسم ... الحمد كلّه لصانع كلّه والصلوة افضلها على افضل الرسل وآله وبعد فايّها الصديق الماحض والخليل الناهض انّ احوج المريوبين الى الربّ الغنىّ محمّد بن محمّد يدعى باقر الداماد الحسينىّ ختم الله له بالحسنى يملى على قلبك -- [كتاب عيون المسائل] بسم ... سبحانك الّلهمّ اَنّى للسان هذه الذمة المخدجة ان يوازى حقوق نعمك بالحمد ... وبعد فيقول احوج المربوبين الى الربّ الغنىّ محمد بن محمد يلقّب باقر الدامدا الحسينىّ انّى قد مصرت العلم وتمصّرت الحكمةExplicit: [شرعة التسمية] الّلهمّ احْملنى على عفوك ولا تحملْنى على عدلك برحمتك يا ارحم الراحمين وصلّى الله على سيّدنا ونبينا محمّد وآله الطاهرين-- [فضل سورة التوحيد] ورموز الاحاديث مصابيحها ومشكاة كمال رسوله الكريم وما الفضل الّا بيد الله وما الفوز الّا فى اتباع رسول الله التمسّك باهل بيته الاطهرين صلوات الله عليه وعليهم اجمعين -- [كتاب عيون المسائل] الى ابداع الجاعل ايّاها فالجاعل سنخ جوهر المهيّة ويفعل نفس ذاتها فينتزع منها الوجود - Light cream paper pasted on red leather over paper pasteboards for upper and lower covers.
