Notlar Ms. codex.Title supplied by the cataloger.Copied by Mehmet Șukri ibn Hüseyn Efendi, the Kadi of Vakfı Kebir, and completed in 1213 (1798 or 1799) -- colophon (fol. 462a).33 lines per page. Written in a small, fairly casual nastaʻlīq in black ink with use of red for rubrication. Text is within a frame outlined in one line of red ink. Foliation in Arabic numerals in black ink, starts with 9 on fol. 3. Glazed European paper with visible watermarks. Few marginal annotations and several loose inserts. Ff. 436b-464a have a glossary of terms, in what appears to be the same hand as in the main text. Several addtional short texts in a later hand on ff. 470b and 471b-472a (most of them fetvas).Incipit: زيد مؤمن بر ا مرذى باله شروع ايتدكده نه ايله بدء ايتمك كركدر كه مبارك وكامل اوله الجوابExplicit: بر مسجد شريفك قربنده اولان مقابر مسلميندن ... ايتدرمكه قادر اولور مى الجواب اولور - Dark blue embossed buckram over brown leather over pasteboard (on upper cover the buckram has worn out and the original leather binding is visible). Envelope flap. Endleaves and lining to the envelope and fore edge flaps in thin brown paper. - A collection of fetvas by Șeyhülislâm Minkarizade Yahya, collected and edited by his pupil and Șeyhülislâm himself, Mehmet Ataullah Efendi (d. 1715). This copy does not have an introductory section which appears in other copies of this collection (see Verzeichnis der Orientalischen Handschriften in Deutschland, XIII, 4, no. 80). Also, this copy does not end with the same fetvas as other copies of the same collection.
