Notlar Ms. codex.Title from preamble of text (fol. 6a, l. 7-8).Physical description: 27 lines per page. Written in small naskh in black ink. The commented text is written in red. The text is framed within two lines in red ink (gold outlined in black on fol. 3b-4a). Collation notes on the margin. Gloss by a later hand on some leaves towards the middle of the copy. Fol. 1 is a later added fly-leaf, with the recto dyed in blue. Verses of poetry on fol. 1a. Several inscriptions on fol. 2a-3a, including ownership statements. Majority of quinions; the central bifolio of each quire is marked by a sign on the upper left corner. According to catchword and quire structure, lacuna after fol. 251.Decoration: Illuminated headpiece (ʻunwān) on fol. 3b, executed in gold leaf , red and black ink.Origin: According to colophon, copied by Muḥammad ibn Ibrāhīm ibn Ṣāliḥ ibn Ḥasan Pāshā al-Rūmī al-Dimashqī. The copy (taḥbīr) was completed on the evening of Thursday 20 Ṣafar 1160 [March 3, 1747] (fol. 496b).Incipit: بسم ... وبه نستعين الحمد لله الذى فتح لخزاين الاهية بمفاتيح العناية والتوفيق وكشف عن وجوه ... اما بعد فيقول العبد الفقير ... عبد الغنى بن اسماعيل بن اعبد الغنى بن اسماعيل بن احمد بن ابراهيم المقدسى النابلسى الشامى الدمشقى رحم الله اجداده واسلافه ... ان علم الحقايق الالهية بعد علم الطريق الايمانية وعلم الشرايع الاسلامية من اشرف ما كشفت عنه القلوب ... [3أ] ... بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم اي بمعونة الاسم الجامع للاسماExplicit: وان يسير لنا كل عسير كما يسر علينا اتمام هذا الشرح المنير وقال الشارح قدس الله سره وقد اتفق الفراغ منه عشية يوم الاثنين التاسع والعشرين من شهر ربيع الاول سنة ثلاث وعشرين وماية والف من الهجرة النبوية على صاحبها افضل صلاة واكمل تحية وقال الشارح ايضا رضى الله عنه وقلت مورخا اتمام هذا الشرح بمعونة الله تعالى ولابن الفارض الديوان لما حكى عقدا نظيما جوهريا عنيت بشرحه هذا الى ان تكامل ارّخوه الفارضيا والحمد لله اولا واخرا وظاهرا وباطنا وصلى الله على سيدنا محمد وعلى اله واصحابه اجمعين وقال الشارح ايضا رحمه الله تعالى وكتبه العبد الفقير الى معرفة ربه عبد الغنى بن النابلسى غفر الله ذنوبه وستر عيوبه وختم له بالحسنى ولجميع المسلمين - Commentary on the Dīwān of Ibn al-Fāriḍ (d. 632/1235), completed on 29 Rabīʻ al-Awwal 1123 [May 17, 1711] (see end of text, fol. 496b).

Kaynak Ownership statement in the name of al-sayyid al-ḥājj Muḥammad Qudsī Muftī Zādah, dated Dh[ū] a[l-Qaʻdah] 1179 [1766] on fol. (2bis)a. This is repeated on fol. 3a, with the name reading Muḥammad Qudsī Ibn Ḥasan al-Muftī ... al-maʻrūf bi-Ḥalīm Zādah, dated 1175 H. [1761 or 2], with seal reading "Muḥammad Qudsī 1171". Three other ownership statements on fol. 3a, one obliterated, another in the name of al-Khālidī (partly obliterated), yet another in the name of Ḥasan ibn Ṣāliḥ ibn Muḥammad, dated 1250 H. [1834 or 5], with seal. Acquired from Abraham Shalom Yahuda, 1942.
