Notlar Ms. codex.Title from ʻunwān on fol. 2b.15 lines per page. Written in a small naskh in black ink with use of red for rubrication. Text is written within a frame outlined in two lines of red ink, with verses within the text also separated into smaller sections. On fol. 2b-3a the frame is made with gold leaf outlined in black ink and one line of blue watercolor. Fol. 2b has an illuminated head piece (ʻunwān) executed in gold leaf and blue, red and green watercolors. Catchwords on the verso of each leaf. Thin glazed paper with visible chain lines. A couple of short inscriptions in black ink on fol. 2a, and one in pencil (in Greek) on fol. 1a.Incipit: حمد بي حد وثناء بى عد اول حكيم پر حكمت وعليم پر موهبته كه نقوش عالمي ونفوس بنى آدميExplicit: مسيحاوش قورسيك بو سرابى ايچرسن چشمهء خوردن شرابى وانا اسئل الله ان يحفظنا ... حسبنا الله ونعم الوكيل نعم المولى ونعم الدليل - Western binding in red leather. Gold tooled panel design on covers, made with a central diamond shaped stamp and four foliage corner piece stamps. Gold fillets and rolls between and on four bands on spine. Gold tooled title on spine: "İbretname-yi Lâmiî". Endleavs in blue marbled paper. - A collection of tales of wisdom.
