Notlar Ms. codex.Title supplied by the cataloger.Copied by Abdürrahim in 1160 (1747) -- colophon (fol. 316b). This is followed by a note on ff. 316b-317a about the composition [of the first part?] of the divan at the request of Ragip Paşa.17 lines per page. Written in a small nastaʻlīq in black ink with use of red for rubrication. Text is written within a wide gold leaf frame outlined in black ink, with verses inside the frame separated with lines in gold leaf. All leaves have margins also outlined in gold leaf. Fol. 2b has an illuminated head piece (ʻunwān) executed in gold leaf with red, blue and green watercolors. The start of the second section of the work has a smaller illuminated head piece in gold leaf with red, blue and white watercolors. Catchwords on the verso of each leaf. Glazed European paper (paper in the second section is thicker and tinted yellow). An inscription in black ink laced with gold glitter, dated 1255 (1839-40), on fol. 1a.Incipit: اظهار امواج ضراعت وزارى در لجهء توحيد بآرى ... تعالى الله زهى ديوان طراز صورت ومعناExplicit: قطرهء ابن ايچنلر ديدى نابى تاريخ روح اجدادنى شاد ايلدى يوسف پاشا - Brown leather binding with a panel design on covers consisting of gold fillet, guilloche and small rosetta stamps around the borders, and mandorals with pendants, blind stamped and painted in gold, in the centre of covers. Endleaves in pink paper. Label on upper cover: "215". - Nabi's Turkish divan. The copy is done in two parts: the main part, which is dated and has a long colophon note by the scribe, ends on fol. 317a; this is followed by a separate section on ff. 320b-387b, containing additional material left out from the main section, written in what appears to be the same hand and undated. The copy further contains Nabi's poem in Islamic ethics, Hayriye, written on the margins on ff. 2b-63a, excerpts from his collection of short works and correspondence, Münşeât-i Nabi, written on the margins on ff. 63b-77b, and his work on Mekka and Medina, Tühfet ül-Haremeyn, written on the margins on ff. 98b-193b.
