Notlar Ms. codex.Title from title page (in red ink, fol. 2a).Physical description: Text written in medium small naskh in black ink with use of red, with 27 lines per page. Contains tables. Fol. 41 consists of two leaves pasted on one another. Inscription mentioning that the text was collated on the exemplar throughout. Quotation from the prophet Muḥammad on astronomy on fol. 1a.Origin: Copy completed on 3(?) Rajab 1115 [Nov. 1703] in Miṣr al-Qāhirah by Khalīl ibn al-Ḥājjī Muḥarram, from an autograph copy (colophon, fol. 26a).Incipit: الحمد لله الذى نصب العلم علما يهتدى به الى مناهج الصواب ... وبعد فيقول اضعف العباد ... رضوان بن عبد الله المستعان شفاه الله من داء العيوب ... ان اشرف ما توجهت اليه ذوو العقول بعد العلوم الشرعية من الفروع والاصول النظر فى الاجرام السماوية وترتيبها على هذا النظم البديعExplicit text (fol. 26a): والمريخ مائتان واربعة واربعة وثمانون سنة واذا انتهت هذه المدة عادت النوبة للشمس و ك ما(؟) معنى من مبداء التاريخ الملكى فخمسمايه وثمانون سنة شمسية والله اعلمان - Quarter bound with flap.
