On the same folio, the text is also attributed to Shaykh Ṭūsī with the title Kitāb-i Shamar-i [read S̲amar?] shajar; however, no record of a work on geomancy with this title or the same incipit is listed in Mudarris Raz̤avī's biography or in Storey's Persian literature.On front cover: Label reading "446" in Arabic script.On spine: Label reading "73" in Arabic script.Ms. erroneously foliated beginning on the front flyleaf. Record follows erroneous numbering.Physical description: 11 lines per page; written in nastaʻliq and naskh in black on grayish-tan glazed, laid Arabic paper with visible fibers. Rubrication and catchwords. A few paper repairs with missing text filled in. On first four leaves there are spots where the paper has worn away, resulting in slight loss of text. Damp staining in lower margin; some smudging. Script changes between nastaʻliq and naskh several times throughout text. Last two leaves on tan glazed, laid paper with visible chain lines, written in naskh with 14 lines per page.Incipit: سپاس و سىاىش مر خداوندى را که اوهام افهام موجودات از کن[--]ت او قاصر است - Half brown leather with faux alligator skin covers; green pastedowns and flyleaves. - A text on geomancy with illustrations, incomplete at end; followed by the last two leaves of a treatise on determining area.
