Note on the text and the way it is related to Ghazzālī's Tahāfut on fol. 1a. Modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals.The colophon and notes on the last page seem to indicate that this copy was made in 915 H. by Maḥmūd ibn Muṣṭafá, and came to the possession of Aḥmad al-MRWN in 1135 H. (see fol. 98a). However, R. Mach dates the copy 1135 H. [1722 or 3].Collation: Paper, fol. 98 ; 1-9¹⁰ 10⁸ ; catchwrod on the verso of each leaf.Incipit (fol. 2b): توجهنا الى جنابك وقصدنا نحو بابك ... وبعد فان العقل والنقل متطابقان على ان اكرم ما يناله قوى البشرExplicit: جامعة بين السعادتبن ... ربنا لا تزع قلوبنا بعد ان هديتنا وهب لنا من لدنك رحمة انك انت الوهاب منك المبداء واليك الماب - Brown leather over pasteboards for upper and lower covers.
