Text framed in red and gold; rubrication, catchwords, and a few marginal notes. Text block has been trimmed. Fol. 13-66 detached. Lacuna after fol. 72, and fol. 302, 303 in reverse order. Inserts between fol. 1-2, 66-67 [letter dated Muḥarram 1330 H], 204-205. Some staining and smudging. Incomplete at beginning and end. - Full black leather over pasted boards; blind-stamped central mandorla, pendants, and fillets. Spine repaired; paper doublures. - History of the Safavid Shāh ʻAbbās and his predecessors.
