Notlar Ms. codex.Title from fol. 1b; title given by Āghā Buzurg (XI, 333) is Riyāḍ al-fityān fī sharḥ Niṣāb al-sibyān. Storey gives the title as al-Nuskhat al-ilāhīyah, but notes that it is present in the colophon of only one ms. (III, 89, note 3); the title Riyāḍ al-fityān is attributed to a certain "Yūsuf" from a single ms. (III, 90).Physical description: 16 lines per page; written in naskh in black by two hands on beige glazed, laid Arabic paper. Headings and keywords overlined in red or black; catchwords and a few marginal notes. Marginal damp staining; more extensive staining on fol. 63-66 resulting in some loss of text. First and last leaves pasted onto machine-made paper and missing some text; fol. 2-5, 154-155 ragged on the edges. Some leaves detached.Incipit (text 1): سپاس بىقىاس مر قادرىرا که اساس حىوة اناسIncipit (text 2): اقول و انا علامي [؟] بن محمد الشريف القاساني عفى عنهما ان نصاب الصبيان كتا جيد كثير المنافع - Pasted boards covered with labels and stamps. On front cover: label of a Japanese cotton manufacturer (Maruima Menpu Kaisha) and two Persian postal stamps. On back cover (detached): label of a U.S.S.R. state cotton manufacturer, a Persian postal stamp, and other labels. Doublures are pages from printed books. - Collection of two texts pertaining to Abū Naṣr Farāhī's Arabic-Persian dictionary, Niṣāb al-ṣibyān; the first is a commentary and the second is an abridged rearrangement.
