Both covers have a similar central blind-tooled and gold painted mandorla with two pendants on the vertical axis inscribed within a single gold painted fillet and an elaborate outer frame consisting of blind-tooled fillets and running patterns. The envelope flap has a similar frame with a smaller blind-tooled and gold painted motif on its pointe. Embossed leather doublure. Spine and fore-edge flap repaired. - Treatise on the patronymics of Arab families.
