On the folio following is a statement about the British occupation of Egypt after the defeat of Aḥmad Pāshā ʻIrābi 1299 [1882].Title supplied by cataloger.Colophon: والحمد لله کل حالIncipit: هذه لامية بن الوردي. اعتزل ذکر الاغاني والغزل - Half-bound binding in oblong or safīnah format in red leather and blue-gray marbled paper. - An anthology from various authors, containing a part of the Lāmīyah of Ibn al-Wardī 689-749 [1290-1349], poems by Abū al-ʻAlāʼ al-Maʻarrī 363-449 [973-1057], Aḥmad al-Maqqarī 1000-1041 [1591/2-1632] and others.
