The text is written on ivory paper inlaid in slightly darker European paper for the borders, the pasted area is covered by a frame in gold and black. Illuminated headpiece in gold and colors, with title and basmallah on fol. 5b. Table of contents in red and black in a gold and black grid on fol. 1b-4a, with illuminated headpiece in gold and black on fol. 1b. Marginal annotations. Slips of paper with annotations pasted between fol. 28 and 29. Several short excerpts, some attributed to Qādīkhān, on fol. 1a and 5a.Collation: Paper, fol. i, 124, ii ; i (free endpaper) 1⁴ (European paper) 2-13¹⁰ i (later added fly-leaf) i (free endpaper).Two spine labels (vertical), reading respectively "Kitāb Multaqá al-abḥur" in Arabic script, and "30" in Arabic and Western numerals.Origin: Copy completed during the night of Thursday 25 Rajab 1106 [March 11, 1695] by Muḥammad ibn ʻAbd al-Ṣamad, former muftī in Balık Sarayı (colophon, fol. 124b).Incipit: الحمد لله الذى وفقنا للتفقه فى الدين ... وبعد فيقول المفتقر الى رحمة ربه الغنى ابراهيم بن محمد بن ابراهيم الحلبى قد سألنى بعض طالبى الاستفادة ان اجمع له كتابا يشتمل على مسائل القدورىExplicit: واقسم الباقى على سهام من بقى او ديونهم قال الفقير هذا اخر ملتقى الابحر ولم آل فى عدم ترك شيء من مسائل الكتب الاربعة والتمس من الناظر فيه انه اطلع على الاخلال بشيء منها ان يخلّصه بمحله ... مما ليس فى الكتب الاربعة والله حسبى ونعم الوكيل وقد تم تصنيفه بين صلوتين من يوم الثلثا ثالث عشر رجب المعظم سنه ثلث وعشرين وتسعمايه والحمد(؟) لله رب العالمين وصل وسلم على سيدنا محمد واله وصحبه اجمعين وعلى التابعين باعانه الى يوم الدين - Purple leather over paper pasteboards for upper and lower covers, fore-edge flap and envelope flap. Pink paper pastedowns and free endpaper. - Elegant copy of a compendium of Ḥanafite law, completed on Tuesday 23 Rajab 923 [August 11, 1517] (see end of text, where the date reads 13 Rajab, fol. 124b).
