Text framed in blue and gold; columns separated by double gold lines. Headings in gold or blue. Numerous paper repairs, resulting in some loss of text particularly in the first book; extensive water and insect damage. Pages in poor condition, but most of text intact and legible.Decoration: Illuminated ʻunwān on fol. 1b in gold and color; somewhat smudged and worn. Illuminated ʻunwāns on fol. 65b, 148b, 219b were excised from a different ms. and pasted to the present copy; some of the blue color has worn away.Origin: Ramaḍān 921 H [1515 or 16] (fol. 254a). - European-style binding in full black leather with blind-stamped panel and fillets; shiny green paper flyleaves and pastedowns. - Defective copy of the Khamsah, missing Makhzan al-asrār and Haft paykar.
