Notlar A gloss of uncertain authorship: This copy attributed to Ḥakīm Shāh Muḥammad ibn Mubārak al-Qazwīnī, d. 928/1522 according to Baghdādī, Hadīyat al-ʻārifīn (1951-55), II, 229 (title and authorʼs name appear twice on fol. 1a, inscribed in two triangles ruled in gold, as well as in the colophon).However, a gloss with the same incipit is attributed to Aḥmad ibn ʻUmar al-Jandī (for the nisbah cf. Ibn al-Athīr, Lubāb I, 240sq.) in the following mss.: As. Soc. Bengal 723; Fihris al-kutub al-mawjūdah bi-al-Maktabah al-Azharīyah, III, 181; India Off. 399 and 1937; Sobranie vostochnykh rukopiseĬ Akademii nauk UzbekskoĬ SSR, 3292; cf.
