Rubrication and catchwords. A number of folios are detached. Extensive insect damage, especially on fol. 1-28, 45-50, 216-221, where there is significant loss of text. There are numerous lacunae in the first 50 leaves and likely some of those leaves are out of order. - A comprehensive work on materia medica dedicated to the Safavid Shāh Sulaymān, r. 1666-1694, written to correct the errors of the Ikhtiyārāt-i Badīʻī and based largely on the Jāmiʻ-i Baghdādī. The first part contains five tashkhīṣāt while the second contains three qisms. According to Storey, the third qism may never have been written. This copy contains most of tashkhīṣ 3-4, tashkhīṣ 5, qism 1, and most of qism 2. The text is followed by fragments from a medical dictionary on fol. 256a-260b.
