Several ḥāshiyah on the margins and on small pieces of paper pasted between the leaves (see between fol. 2 and 3). Catchword on the verso of each leaf. On fol. 1a: Inscriptions in Arabic and Turkish and a seal. Title on the lower edge of the text block (hardly legible). Modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals.Inscription in Arabic script on a spine label (vertical): "Majmūʻat Tahdhīb al-manṭiq wa-Mīr". Inscription in Arabic script on a label pasted on the upper cover: "Falsafīyāt 62". Inscription in Arabic script on a label pasted on the pastedown of the upper cover: "284/2 Ḥāʼ".According to R. Mach, this copy dates from the 11th or 12th cent. H. - Dark brown leather over pasteboards for upper and lower covers and envelope flap. Marbled paper pasted on upper and lower covers and as a doublure for the envelope flap. Red colored paper pastedowns on both covers. - Collection comprising a short text on semantics (ʻilm al-waḍʻ) by ʻAḍud al-Dīn Ījī (d. 756/1355?) and two commentaries on Tahdhīb al-manṭiq wa-al-kalām by Masʻūd ibn ʻUmar al-Taftazānī (d. 791/1389). In this copy, in contradistinction with the majority of the copies in Princeton Library, Dawwānī's text is presented as a commentary on Mīr Abū al-Fatḥ. This opens the question of the identity of Mīr Abū al-Fatḥ, who could also be identified as Mīr Abū al-Fatḥ Muḥammad ibn Amīn al-Ardabīlī, d. ca. 875/1470 (see Hadīyat al-ʻārifīn, II, 207). The text of Dawwāni's commentary is incomplete at end.
