Excerpts of poetry by İsmail Hakkı Bursalı (1653-1724 or 5) on verso and recto of the back flyleaf.Layout: 17-21 lines per page in one or two columns.Description: Written in medium small nastaʻlīq in black ink with use of red for rubrication. Catchwords on the verso of each leaf. Glazed European paper.Origin: Only text 1 is dated, but text 2 is in same hand and on same paper, and is of same or similar date. Text 1 completed on the 5th of Rabīʻ al-Awwal 1156 (1743) -- colophon (fol. 75b).Incipit: [ترجمهء عالم برزخ] حمد بى حد وبى همتا ... اما بعد شيح المشايخ ترجمان القران اخر مجتهدين ابو عبد الله شيخ محمد بن شيخ ايوب الجوزى كه ابن قيم ديمكله مشهور معروفدر -- [نظم معتمد في احكام الرد] حمد بى حدا ولا يزال سزا كه انكدر امانت واحيآExplicit: [ترجمهء عالم برزخ] ايلر دعالر يازانه وهم اوقيانه همان انلر بغر دعا كله اوله لر بشير -- [نظم معتمد في احكام الرد] كلدى اولدمكه كلك نطق ايآ تم بالخير ايله اوله كويا - Dark burgundy leather with a simple blind tooled panel design on covers, made with two frames outlined with three blind fillets each. Pastedowns in peach colored paper. Flyleaves in yellow paper. - Ibn Qayyim's treatise on "ʻĀlam al-Barzakh", followed by an anonymous collection of poetry on questions of fiqh concerning inheritance.
