Notlar Ms. codex.Title from end of text (fol. 353b).27 lines per page. Written in medium small naskh in black ink with use of red. Light cream paper with laid and chain lines visible. Inscription on fol. 1a. Marginal annotations. Short text on the pastedown of the lower cover. Ownership statement(?) in Ottoman Turkish dated 1256 H. [1840 or 41] on fol. 2a (almost completely erased). Threat page-markers. Inscription in Arabic script on a label pasted on the upper cover: "Ḥadīth 103 [next line in red ink] 91". Inscription in Arabic script on a label pasted on the pastedown of the upper cover: "Ḥāʼ 1050".At the end of the copy, long colophon copied from the exemplar: copied by Muḥammad ibn Ibrāhīm ibn Yaʻqūb ibn Ḥassān ibn Thābit al-Anṣārī who completed his work on Saturday 17 Shawwāl 836 (fol. 353b). This is followed by the colophon of this copy: completed in 846 H., the end being copied by Mawlāná Ṭāhir ibn al-marḥūm mawlāná Muḥammad bey, the beginning by ʻAbd al-Raḥmān al-Maṣlaḥī, qāḍī in Amāsiyah.Incipit: باب مناقب عمّار وحذيفة رضي الله عنهما حدثنا مالك بن اسمعيلExplicit: خفيفتان على اللسان ثقيلتان فى الميزان سبحان الله وبحمده [353ب] سبحان الله العظيم - Upper and lower covers made of brown leather over paper pasteboards. The upper cover has a central medallion with a central roundel filled with blind-tooling and surrounded by eight petals, and an elaborate outer frame. The lower cover has a similar outer frame and a cross shape blind tooled central pattern. Paper pastedowns. - Copy of the Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī comprising the end of Kitāb Faḍāʼil Aṣḥāb al-Nabī to the end.
