Written in a small naskh in black ink with use of red for rubrication. Text is written within a frame outlined in one line of red ink. Catchwords on the verso of each leaf. Glazed European paper, most of it re-glazed (with egg albumen?). Ms. addition: a short text entitled "Terekküb-i lal" on fol. 137b.Incipit: فاتحة كنج كلام قديم بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم هذا كتابنا ينطق عليكم بالحق انا كنا نستنسخ ما كنتم تعلمون اجناس سپاس خورشيد اقتباسExplicit: خط فرمانك اولوب طغراي منشورقضا قدرك احكامينك اورسون هردم امضاسن قدر - Brown leather with envelope flap. Blind fillets and small rosetta stamps around the borders of covers. Central mandorlas on upper and lower covers, blind stamped and painted in orange, with pendants made of a cluster of small rosetta stamps. Same design on the envelope flap. Pastedowns in light purple paper. - A loose translation of the 21st Risālah of Rasāʾil Ikhwān al-Ṣafāʾ.
