Paper is very acidic.Binding is cloth and paper over boards. Spine and cover corners are geen cloth. Title is stamped on spine in gold. Covers are marbled paper in green and black. Pastedowns and endpapers are marbled paper. - Text is a copy of volume 21 of the auhor's famous compendium of songs, literary biographies and anecdotes about Arab culture from the pre-Islamic period down to the early Abbasids. This is Prof. Brünnouw's draft for his 1888 edition of this volume of Iṣbahānīs work, which was not included in the Bulaq edition.
