Notlar Ms. codex.Title from the lower edge of text block.Copied by Mehmet Arif, known as Zade-yi Küllzamanî [?] and completed in the last 10 days of Shawwāl 1241 (1826) -- colophon (fol. 274a).25 lines per page. Written in a small shikastah-nastaʻlīq in black ink with use of red for rubrication. Text is written inside a single line frame in red ink. On fol. 1b-2a the frames are in gold leaf outlined in black ink. Fol. 1b has an illuminated head piece executed in gold leaf with blue, red, orange and pink watercolors. Catchwords on the verso of each leaf. Glazed European paper with watermarks, stained pink.Incipit: حمد وشكر متآقب الورود اول وآجب الوجود وغايت كل مقصودExplicit: ما رنحت عذبات البان ريح صبا والطرب العيس حادى العيس بالنغم - Red wide-grained leather over pasteboard with envelope flap. Gold guilloche and gold fillets around the edges of covers and the envelope flap. Gold tooled panel design on the fore edge flap made with fillets and small rosetta stamps. Endleaves and lining to the envelope flap in peach paper sprinkled in gold. Lining to the fore edge flap in green fabric. - A commentary on Būṣīrī's Qaṣīdat al-burdah, a panegyrical poem about the Prophet.
