Notlar Ms. codex.Title supplied by the cataloger.7 lines per page. Written in a medium large naskh in black ink with use of red. Text is written inside a single line frame in red ink. Catchwords on the verso of each leaf. Glazed paper with visible laid, and occasionally visible, uneven chain lines. The text on fol. 47a-49b (part of "Dua-yi ism-i azım") is more decorative and is written inside a frame outlined in several lines in black, red and blue, in the following form: one line of text, followed by several lines inside a circle outlined in blue on yellow colored background, followed by another line of text. Some water damage and loss of text.Incipit (as extant): بو له بر كمسهء سوسن اول سني سومسه بر الماىه يزه سن اوقيه سودي كنه ويرسون هماندم عاشق ومحبت لي اولهExplicit (as extant): وان نشاء نغرقهم فلا صريح لهم ولا هم ينقذون الا - Ms. is disbound. Partially remaining binding in brown leather with yellow pastedowns: two loose covers with evidence of the existence of an envelope flap. - An incomplete book of invocations and charms used for various purposes, starting here with a recipe for a love charm, and then continuing with different invocations (duʻāʾs) for entering paradise, protection from the enemy etc. Most of it is in Ottoman, though texts of some of the duʻāʾs, as well as excerpts from the Quran, are in Arabic; in some cases the introduction to the duʻāʾ is in Ottoman, which is then followed by the text itself in Arabic.
