Written in a small naskh in black ink with some use of red for rubrication. Text is written inside a single line frame in red ink. Catchwords on the verso of each leaf. Glazed European paper. Foliation in pencil in Arabic numerals (incomplete). Some water damage and some repairs to the paper at the start of the ms.Incipit: وصلى على سيدنا محمد كلما ذكره الذاكرون ... وبعد فيقول افقر عباد الله الغنى واحوجهم الى كرمهExplicit: وقد وقع الفراغ من شرح هذا الكتاب بعون الله الملك الوهاب يوم الاربعأ بعد الظهر الثامن عشر من رجب الفرد من شهور عام ثلاث وسبعين ومائة والف ... وحسبنا الله ونعم الوكيل ولاحول ولاقوة الا بالله العلى العظيم - Composite binding with envelope flap: upper cover is in dark burgundy leather with a blind tooled panel design made with fillets and small rosetta stamps; lower cover is in brown leather with a blind tooled panel design made with a central mandorla, fillets and small rosetta stamps; spine is covered/repaired in burgundy leather; fore edge flap and envelope flap in same burgundy leather as on spine. Endleaves and lining to the envelope flap in cream paper. Lining to the fore edge flap in green fabric. - A commentary on Jazūlī's Dalāʾil al-khayrāt, a collection of prayers for the Prophet, including those associated with the pilgrimage to the Prophet's tomb in Medina.
