Blind-stamped central pattern and blind-tooled edging. Blue fabric doublures. - The first volume of a commentary explaining the difficult traditions found in the Ṣaḥīḥs of al-Bukhārī and Muslim ibn al-Ḥajjāj. The work is also known as Sharḥ al-masānid.
