Notlar Ms. codex.Title supplied by the cataloger.Copied by Mustafa bin Salih bin Mustafa al-Egribozî [i.e. "the Negropontian"], known as Selim ... [?] and completed in Ṣafar 1167 (1753)) -- colophon (fol. 313a).15 lines per page. Written in a medium small fully vocalised naskh in black ink with use of red for rubrication. Text is written in two columns inside a frame in gold leaf outlined in black ink, with columns and breaks also separated with lines in gold leaf. Fol. 1b has an illuminated head piece executed in gold leaf with red, blue, white, orange and pink watercolors. Catchwords on the verso of each leaf. Glazed European paper with watermarks. Foliation in Arabic numerals in black ink, starting with 2 on fol. 1a.Incipit: اله واحد رب تعالى هو الله البديع الحق الاعلىExplicit:حبيبينه صلوتيله تحيات دخى الينه كم خير البريات چون تمام اولدى كتاب اى اهل دين كوستر مسلملره راه يقين كاتبچون اوقيانلرفاتحه رحمت اتسون اكه رب العالمين اوقيانى يازنى دكلاينى رحمتكله يرلغاغل يا غنى - Brown leather over pasteboard with envelope flap. Gold guilloche and fillets around edges of covers. Central mandorlas with pendants on upper and lower covers, blind stamped and painted with gold and brown. Pastedowns and lining to the envelope flap in green marbled paper. Lining to the fore edge flap in dark blue fabric. - A poem of religious contents, concerning the Islamic tradition in general and that relating to the Prophet in particular. The poem is a re-working in Ottoman verse by the author of the second part of his prose work in Arabic entitled Maghārib al-zamān.
