Text arranged in two columns with catchwords and occasional marginal notes. Text is followed by 2 pages of poetry and inscriptions.Paper is glazed laid stock, handmade. Some soiling and discoloration; pervasive water strain in upper outside quadrant. Some minor smudging. Leaves slightly dog-eared.Binding is leather over pasteboard. Spine is plain red leather; covers are pale green with edges trimmed in red. Blind-stamped scroll frame; center mandorlas and flanking tulips, inlaid in red leather and bearing blind-stamped vine motif. Endbands severely damaged. Hinge of verso cover broken. - Illuminated manuscript of a dīwān of the poet known as the Indian Saʻdī. Includes ghazals and qaṣīdahs. The last 18 pages are devoted to rubaʻīyāt (f. 229a-237b).
