Stamp in Russian "ПАНЧЕНКО # 6 РОСТОВ" (fol. 1b). I.S. Panchenko and his sons owned paper manufactory in Rostov-on-Don, Russia, since 1873 till October Revolution. His manufactory was a major paper supplier for Caucasus region from where the manuscript may originate.Written in small nastaʻlīq in black ink; text is only on side a of folios. Double frame in black ink along misṭara dimensions. Catchwords in black ink. Nine fine illustrations in black ink. (fol. 2a,5a, 9-15a).In good condition. Stains. Text is not affected.Incipit: الحمد لله رب العالمين و الصلوة والسلام على خير خلقة محمد و آله اجمعين امّا بعد آورده اند كه در زمان هرون الرشيد مردى بود... - Modern European binding covered with dark blue leather; paste down end papers. - Persian illustrated manuscript with folk stories and poetry.
