Notlar Ms. codex.Title from fol. 1a.Copied by Ubeydullah Mustafa ibn Ahmet and completed on the 24th of Shawwāl 958 (1551) -- colophon (fol. 134b).17 lines per page. Written in very small nastaʻlīq in black ink with use of red for rubrication. Fol. 2-24 are of an earlier date, and are written in very small naskh in black ink with use of gold for rubrication. Fol. 2b has an illuminated head piece executed in gold leaf with blue, orange and white watercolors. The text on fol. 2-24 is inside a gold leaf frame outlined in black ink. Catchwords on the verso of each leaf. Glazed European paper, except for fol. 2-24 which are on an older, dark cream paper with prominent fibres. Ms. additions: Fol. 135a-137a have some poetry in a later hand, fol. 137b has several short inscriptions and a very faint short paragraph of text. Two obliterated ownership statements and a seal on fol. 2a. One very faint ownership seal on fol. 137b.Incipit: شكر وسپاس ومنت بى قياس اول خالق الجن والناس كه موهبت واحسانى فيضندنExplicit: نثر ونظمه لامعى عمر عزيزى خرج ايدبچوق پريشان سويلدك استغفر الله العظيم - Marbled paper over pasteboard on covers and envelope flap with brown leather on spine, fore edge flap and around edges of covers. The binding is fragile and there is worm damage to the binding and paper. - Lâmiî Çelebi's allegorical work in mysticism, written in combination of verse and prose, a (loose) translation from Persian of "Ḥusn va dil" by Muḥammad ibn Yaḥyá Sībak Nīshābūrī (d. ca. 1448).
