The German original appeared in Beiheft zum Militär-Wochenblatt, 1901, p. 590-608. This issue is also bound with this vol. From the elaborate nature of the binding, the presence of the Tugra of Abdülhamit II, and 2 "Padışahım çokyas̜a"s beginning and ending the work, this vol. may have been prepared as presentation copy.
