Notlar Ms. codex.Title supplied by the cataloger.23 lines per page. Written in a small elegant nastaʻlīq in black ink with use of red and green for rubrication, and gold for breaks inside the text. Text is written diagonally across the page inside a gold leaf frame oulined in black ink. Catchwords on the verso of each leaf. Glazed paper with visible laid lines, some of it left cream and some stained in either blue or red. A list of some of the contents, in red ink in a later hand on fol. 1a. A prayer (duʻāʼ) in same red ink and same hand on fol. 31b. - Brown leather over pasteboard with a gold tooled border design on covers, made with a gold guilloche and several gold fillets. Marbled endpapers. - A personal collection of short prose and poetry works and excerpts from works, chiefly in Ottoman Turkish with some sections in Arabic (the original text in commentaries plus texts 4 and 7).
