Text is written within a single line frame outlined in red ink. Glazed European paper. Two ownership statements on fol. 1a, both undated, in the names of Mehmet ibn Şaban and Ibrahim bin Mustafa, a müderris at the "Zeynî [?] Çelebi Medrese". Two faint ownership seals on the same fol. A number of other short inscriptions (chiefly verse and one list of market produce and their prices on fol. 233a) on fol. 1a, and ff. 231a, 233a-b, 234a-b.Incipit: درر زواهر حمد وثنا وغرر ظواهر سپاس وستايش كه كثرت افراد فرايدينه سلك شهور وايامده احتمال اجتماع وانتظامExplicit: معلوم اولا كه بو خصالدن ضوررى اولمين نسب در اما غايت نافع در لكن يسار وموافقت عسكر خصال باقيه دن حاصل اولور والله تعالى اعلم واحكم - Brown leather. Blind tooled border on covers using fillets and rosetta stamps. Blind tooled mandorlas with rosetta stamps around edges in the center of upper and lower covers. Evidence of an envelope flap which is now missing. Upper cover pastedown in olive fabric. Lower cover pastedown in two different types of marbled paper. - Kınalızade's work on ethics in 3 books (kitāb), composed in 1565. This copy comprises books 1 and 2 only.
