Misṭarah used to rule pages. Bāb 3 of supplement consists mainly of lists written in 2-3 columns. Fol. 58b-60a blank. Foxing along lower edges. In excellent condition.Origin: Main text written by the author at the Jāmiʻ Abī Ayyūb al-Anṣārī (Eyüp Sultan Camii) on the first day of Rabīʻ I 1232 H. [19 Januarly 1817] (fol. 25b). Supplement likely written shortly thereafter.Incipit: الحمد لله الذي فرض على عباده المؤمنين حج البيت الحرام وعلمهم مناسك الحج بعضها بنص الكتاب وبعضها بلسان حبيبه افضل الانام - Full violet leather with flap and gold-painted fillets; green pastedowns and flyleaves. - Manual on the Islamic pilgrimage rites. Main text is on fol. 1b-25b and is followed by a supplement in three bāb on visiting Medina, Mecca, and other holy places (fol. 26a-57b). On fol. 58a is a prayer in Arabic; note by a different hand on fol. 60b. Holograph.
