Written in a small nastaʻlīq in black ink with use of red for rubrication. The introduction is in Arabic on fol. 13b-14a, and is written inside a double gold leaf frame outlined in black ink. Fol. 13b has an elegant illuminated head piece executed in gold ink with light purple and blue watercolors. Glazed European paper with frame-ruled margins, some of it (the second half of the ms.) re-glazed with egg-albumen. Fol. 13a has a short, original table of contents in black and red ink. Fol. 1-11 are a later addition on a thin wove paper and have a detailed table of contents in black and red ink in a different hand. "Şanizade" written on the lower edge of text block. - Red, wide-grained leather over pasteboard. One gold guilloche and four gold fillets around the borders of covers. Endleaves in mottled light blue paper sprinkled in silver. - A collection of various documents providing legal opinions regarding matters of fiqh and sharīʻah, some of them in the form of fetvas (extracted from other books) and some originating from the author's father and teacher, Mahmut Paşa Şanizade (see the introduction).
