Notlar	Ms. codex.Title from fol. iib (other title from colophon).Copying/writing (possibly an authograph?) completed on the 22nd of Muḥarram 1206 (1791) -- colophon (fol. 47b).17 lines per page. Written in a neat, small naskh in black ink with use of red for rubrication. Catchwords on the verso of each leaf. Glazed European paper with watermarks. Fol. ii (i.e. the first page of the text) is a later replacement in a different, very casual hand. The text ends on fol. 47b, and is followed by three fol. (fol. 48a-50b) of small additions in the same hand, consisting of a couple of prayers (duʻāʾs) and several short excerpts from different works.Incipit: اعجز الناس اولان الحاج الشيخ محمود بو كنز الموعظ اسمند اولان كتاب دين اسلامه متعلق بر مقدار احكام ووعظ نصيحت تحرير اندن صكره حاطره سنوع وحطور اتديكه بو كتابه بر مقدار بدن علمى وصيتده اصابت ايدن علت وامراض دواسى دخى تسطير اولنوبExplicit: اسهال ايديجى شربتى ايجمكى عادت اتممش اكا دخى شربت ورميلر تم كتابة خلاصة الغايت البيان - Only the lower cover of the binding remains: blue marbled paper over pasteboard with brown fabric on spine. Endleaves in glossy red paper. - Apparently a supplement to a work called "Kenz ül-[sic.]meviz" [error for mevaiz?] by a Şeyh Mahmut who decided to enhance this work containing advice on religious matters with advice on matters of medicine (see start of text). Considering the title given in the text (see end of text), and the contents, this would appear to consist of extracts from (i.e. a very short abridgment of) Gayet ül-beyan fi tedbir-i beden il-insan by Sālih ibn Nasr Allāh al-Halabī.
