Notlar	Ms. composite codex.Title supplied by the cataloger.An inscription in a later hand on fol. 95a bears the date "21st of Tishrīn al-Thānī 1038" which would make it 1628, but this is in the same hand as an additional inscription in the margin of the same fol. and this has dates 28th of Ḥazīrān 1310 (1893) and 7th of Muḥarram 1312 (1894), so the first date is most probably an error for 1308 or similar, and does not mean that the ms. dates before 1628.Layout: 17 lines per page ; frame-ruled in red.Description: Rubricated ; written in nastaʻlīq and other script in black ink. Catchwords on the verso of each leaf. Glazed European paper.Incipit: [History] الحمد لله رب العالمين الذى وهب لذوى العقول نعمت معرفت ... وبعد ابتداء عالمده اقوال معتبره ومشهوره چوقدر -- [تاريخ مصر الجديد] جواهر حمد وسپاس بى قياس ومنتهاي بى منتهاي قوي الآساس اول مدرك خفاياى اسرار لا تدركه الابصارExplicit: [History] وممتاز قيلو ويره امين بحق النبي الامى الامين وصلى الله على خير خلقه محمد وآله وصحبه اجمعين -- [تاريخ مصر الجديد] كيرو مزبور على پاشا مأيوس اولوب عودت ايلدى كما تدين تدآن سري اشكار اولدى - Marbled paper on covers with brown leather on spine. Pastedowns in ochre paper. The binding is damaged: covers are very fragile and the spine has disintegrated and separating from the text-block. - A collection of two histories.
