Texts are continuous, both are written in same hand and on same paper. Catchwords on the verso of each leaf. Glazed European paper, stained yellow.Decoration: Both texts have illuminated headpieces of gold, pink, orange, blue and red and opening spreads are frame-ruled within a double gold leaf frame outlined in black ink (fol. 2b-3a and fol. 33b-34a). Floral tail pieces in gold ink on fol. 32b and 37a.Origin: [An autobiographical note] Colophon dated beginning of Dhū al-Qaʻdah 1249 (1834).Incipit: [تاريخ قمنجه] بى نام خدا سخنده تاثير اولمز بى رهبر حمد سوزجهانكير اولمز -- [An autobiographical note] الحمد لله الخالق الحى الذى لا يموت ولاينام ... اما بعد خامة سحرساز وقايع نويس وخوشخدام بو طور مرغوبExplicit: [تاريخ قمنجه] عدونده خنچر خارستمله بغرى خون اولسون -- [An autobiographical note] و محبتلرى حد چندان ترقى وتزايد يوله بيت ديدى ايشيدوب سروش خوش خير آمين آمين - Type II (with flap) binding in red leather and blue and brown marbled paper over pasteboard.
