Gold tooled European style panel design on covers, made with a gold roll around the edges of covers, gold fillets and corner stamps forming the inner rectangle, and a gold foliage motif stamp in the centre. Same gold roll and fillets on the envelope flap. Endleaves in purple/brown marbled paper. Lining to the fore edge flap in green fabric. - A translation (from Persian) of Niẓām al-tawārīkh, a history of Iran from the ancient times until the advent of the Mongols.
