Written in a small fully vocalised naskh in black ink with use of red for rubrication. Text is written in two columns inside a double line frame in red ink, with columns also divided with two lines in red ink. Catchwords on the verso of each leaf. Glazed paper with watermarks.Incipit (as extant): پس مجاهد ديدى بو اول روحدر اهل تفسير اچره بو مشروحدرExplicit:حبيبينه صلاتيله تحيات دخى الينه كم خير البريات الهى رحمت ايليه سن اكا بونى يازانى دعا برله اكا رحمتكله يرلغاغل يا غنى اوقيوب دكلاينى هم يازنى - Brown leather over pasteboard with envelope flap (the latter in burgundy leather). Blind tooled panel design on covers made with a guilloche around edges, mandorla in the centre with radiating fillets along the vertical and horizontal axis, and clusters of small rosetta stamps along those fillets and as corner pieces. Similar design on the envelope flap with a smaller mandorla painted with gold. Blind tooled panel design on the fore edge flap. No pastedowns. Lining to the envelope flap in marbled paper. Lining to the fore edge flap in green fabric. Label on upper cover: "50". - A poem of religious contents, concerning the Islamic tradition in general and that relating to the Prophet in particular. The poem is a re-working in Ottoman verse by the author of the second part of his prose work in Arabic entitled Maghārib al-zamān. This copy is incomplete and lacks several pages at the start.
