Extensive insect damage and paper repairs, resulting in loss of text in a few places; some smudging and staining.Origin: Original text completed in 1205 H [1790 or 91] (fol. 1b). This copy likely from India, 19th century. - Vol. 1 is full red leather with peach flyleaves and pastedowns. Vol. 2 is full brown leather with tan flyleaves and pastedowns. - A collection of biographies of poets from early times up to the time of the author. Examples of the poets' works are given.
