A few leaves have a single chain line, but no watermarks. Fol. 1-8 are replacements on 19th cent. European laid paper. Text framed in blue and red lines; headings in text 1 and Arabic quotations in text 2 in red. Catchwords and a few marginal notes. Fol. 95a-96a, 102b-103b blank. Light staining, mainly marginal.Decoration: Small, well-executed illuminated ʻunwān in gold and colors on fol. 96b.Origin: First text copied by Ḥāfiẓ Muḥammad ibn Muḥammad ibn Khiḍr ibn Muḥsin [...] (fol. 94b); text 2 appears to have been copied by the same copyist.Incipit [text 1]: سپاس بى قىاس و حمد بى شمار رزاق بى سبب و خالق بى تعب را که حلواى دلپذىر بىان بسرانگشت زبان بر طبقچۀ دهان انسان نهادIncipit [text 2]: نزد اصحاب حقىقت وافىست که ارباب طرىقت و کياست آورده اند که وقتى صاحب دلى بى حاصلى را دىد که بهر رونق معاشران چنگى مىساخت - Half leather with embossed red paper covers; dark gray flyleaves and pastedowns. - Contains the collected poetry of Busḥāq Aṭʻimah and a treatise on music.

On music; in the colophon on fol. 102a, the treatise is also called Asrār-i chang and is attributed to Ibn al-ʻAzīz al-Marāghī (possibly a grandson of the great Persian musician ʻAbd al-Qādir ibn Ghaybī al-Marāghī, who had a son named ʻAbd al-ʻAzīz).
