Notlar Ms. codex.Title from fol. 1a.Written in a form of a table, with around 20 lines per page. The table is outlined in red ink and the text is in small naskh in black ink, with red ink for headings and rubrication. Foliation in Arabic numerals in black ink, starts on fol. 2. Glazed European paper. Fol. 1a has a paragraph of introduction attributed to İbrahim Müteferrika, who published the work in 1773, and is thus also a later addition to the original copy. Fol. 2a has a signature of Aḥmad "known as" Köprülüzade, accompanied by a seal and dated 1140 (1727-8), and two ownership statements accompanied by seals and dated 1174 (1760-61) and Rajab 1218 (1803).Incipit: حمد وثنا وشكر بى انتها ... وبعد چون فن جليل القدر تاريخنده فضل وشرف مقرر ومفصلات وقايعى ضبط واحاطه غير متصور درExplicit: نتيجه سين بو مدخلدن ضبط ايده لر والسلام على من اتبع الهدي العبد المذنب على يحرس كع (؟) شهر سفر الخبر سنه 1093 - Olive paper over pasteboard with brown leather on spine and around edges of covers. Obloid central stamps on covers, blind stamped with brown leather pasted over. Blind guilloche, fillets and small rosetta stamps around borders of covers. - Kâtip Çelebi's chronological list of historical events. This copy is an expanded version of Kâtip Çelebi's original, which covered events up to the year 1058 H (1648), and continues until the year 1200 H (1785-6). The continuation is not contemporary to the main text and was added later: on ff. 69a-76a certain or all sections of the text in the table are in a different hand. The copy is not dated, but a signature on fol. 1a is dated 1140 (1727-8), which suggests that the main text was probably copied in early 18th century, while the rest was added in late 18th century.
