Written in a medium small ruqʻah with elements of nastaʻlīq in black ink with some use of red for rubrication. Text is written inside a gold leaf frame outlined in black ink. On fol. 4b-5a the frame is double with green watercolor between the two frames and all is further outlined in one line of red ink. A small gold leaf ʻunwān on fol. 4b. Catchwords on the verso of each leaf. Glazed European paper. Pagination in Arabic numerals in black ink (incomplete). Foliation in pencil in Western numerals. Fol. 2b-3a have a table of contents in black ink, inside a gold leaf frame outlined in black ink and ruled in red ink. Fol. 169b-172a have the gold leaf text frames, but are left blank. Date 21 of Ṣafar 1292 (1875) on fol. 4a (in same hand and ink as in the table of contents and pagination).Illuminations:1.
