Text is written in two columns, inside a single line frame in red ink, with columns also separated with lines in red ink. Ff. 2b-3a written within a gold leaf frame outlined in black ink. Catchwords on the verso of each leaf. Glazed European paper with watermarks.Incipit: هر كم سودى رسولك اون يآرين يآرين اوچمقده كوره ديدارينExplicit: رسولك كور بو دينده قوتنى قد اقلدى سكا ذريتنى تمت الكتاب بعون الله الملك الوهاب - Olive paper (mostly faded to light brown) over pasteboard on covers and envelope flap with brown leather on spine and fore edge flap. Endleaves and lining to the envelope flap in light peach paper. Lining to the fore edge flap in brown leather. - A poetic work on the nativity of the Prophet Muhammad, including histories of his close family and four rightly guided caliphs. There are many versions of this work and the author of this one is not mentioned in the ms. The text ends on fol. 65b (see explicit) and is immediately followed by a short text, also in verse, entitled "Dastan-i İbrahim" (fol. 65b-68b).
