Notlar Ms. codex.Title from fol. 7a.21 lines per page. Written in an elegant medium sized vocalised naskh in black ink with use of red for rubrication. Text is written inside a gold leaf frame outlined in black ink. Fol. 1b has an illuminated head piece executed in gold leaf with blue, green, orange, red and white watercolors. Catchwords on the verso of each leaf. Glazed European paper with a watermark inscribed "SGRISON" topped by a crown and surmounting a bell. An obliterated ownership statement, accompanied by a stamp, with the date 1157 (1744-45) visible on fol. 1a. Same stamp on fol. 196b.Incipit: درر زواهر حمد وثنا وغرر جواهر سٻاس خدا كه زيور لطائفى عبادته لباس وسعادته اساس اولوبExplicit: وتدخلنى فى زمرة قوم لا يشقى جليسهم وان ترزقنى طواف بيتك الحرام وزيارة نبيك عليه الصلوة و السلام تم - Burgundy leather over pasteboard with envelope flap. Large central mandorlas with pendants on covers, blind stamped with brown floral design on gold leaf background pasted over. Clusters of small gold rosetta stamps with radiating sprigs as corner pieces. Cover edges are repaired with different red leather decorated with a "greek key" gold roll. Envelope flap has a small medallion in the same style as the mandorlas, same corner pieces as covers, gold fillets around the edges and an obliterated (i.e. filled up with gold) "greek key" role along one side. Gold fillets on fore edge flap. Cream and red end bands. Spine is damaged. Endleaves in cream paper. Lining to the fore edge flap in grey buckram. - A history of Anatolian dervish orders, based on Vâhidi's Menakıb-i Hoca-yi Cihan. The work was completed on the 20th of Rajab 1011 (3 Jan. 1603) and is dedicated to the chief eunuch Gazanfer Ağa.
