Only this section is dated but the appendix is written continuously in the same style and in same hand.23 lines per page. Written in a small naskh in black ink with use of red for rubrication. Text is written inside a frame outlined in one line of green ink, except on fol. 2b-3a where the frames are in gold leaf outlined in black ink. Fol. 2b has an illuminated head piece (ʻunwān), executed in gold leaf with green, orange, red, purple, pink and black watercolors, with the title in the centre in orange ink. Catchwords on the verso of each leaf. Glazed European paper. Fol. 2a has an oval stamp with a cross pattern forming triangles with an inscription inside each of them. The text ends with a table of Ottoman sultans and dates of their accessions to the throne (after the explicit on fol. 38b). The list is then completed in a different hand on fol. 39a. Fol. 39b-42b have the text frames ruled but are blank. Fol. 43a-52b are blank. Fol. 53a-b has a number of short inscriptions, including a short list of different Ottoman statesmen on fol. 53b.Incipit: كاتب نسخهء لوح وقلم ناظم ارزآق ما فى العالم داور ديو ... اما بعد بو مقاله نك تحريرينه سبب اولدر كهExplicit (as extant): ذكر اولنديكه محليله لازم اولتدقده اسان وجهله ييلنه وبولنه ان شاء الله - Dark burgundy leather with wide grain, with no pasteboard but a single sheet of thick brown paper as pastedown. Blind fillets around borders of covers. Blind tooled obloid medallion with small pendants and radiating sprigs around the edges in the centre of upper and lower covers. Sewn with dark blue thread. - A work on the Ottoman system of land tenure (timar system) and land entitlements of the chief state officials. The work has an appendix entitled Risale-yi vazifeharan ve meratib-i bendegan-i âl-i Osman, which in this copy is incomplete, misbound (fol. 30b has the title and the first page, while fol. 31 has the end of the conclusion (hatime)), and the rest of the text that is there (fol. 32a-38b) does not appear to correspond to that found in other copies of the work (e.g. see the published version).
