In excellent condition.Decoration: Two illuminated ʻunwāns, somewhat amateurish, at the beginning of texts 1 and 2 (fol. 1b, 204b), painted mainly in gold, red-purple, and blue. Basmalah set within a center ellipse; title set within two gold ellipses to either side. In text 1, original poetry is set within two gold ellipses in a band surrounded by a red-purple, blue, and white geometric pattern. Text on fol. 1b-214a framed by blue, gold, and red-purple lines.Origin: Text 1 completed by Muḥammad ibn Jamāl al-Dīn in 1274 H. [1857 or 8] (fol. 203b). Text 2 completed by al-Muttajir [?] ibn Muḥammad on 2 Rajab 12[7]7 H. [14 January 1861] (fol. 213a). Text 3 likely completed not long after text 2.Incipit (text 1): اى ممدوح بهر زبانى و اى مضمون بهر مکانى اى مذکور بهر لسانى و اى معروف بهر احسانىIncipit (text 2): اى پىداتر از هر پىداىى و اى اشکارتر از هر هوىداىIncipit (text 3): بدانکه دل را به قسم نهاده اند قسم اول آن است که قلب مزكى حي دانند - Full black leather with blind-stamped central mandorla, pendants, and fillets; white pastedowns. The mandorla and pendants appear to have been painted green, though most of the color has worn off. - A collection of three texts on Sufism, including a commentary on Shabistarī's Gulshan-i rāz, followed by poems.
