Text framed in gold, maroon, green, and blue; columns separated by double gold lines. Catchwords; headings in red. Damp staining on lower, outer corner and other occasional staining; some leaves are loose. Otherwise in excellent condition.Decoration: On fol. 1b-2a, two large rosettes illuminated in gold and color. On fol. 2b-3a, two lavishly illuminated panels in gold and color, but no inscriptions. Illuminated ʻunwāns at the beginning of each poem.Origin: Likely 17th century, according to Moghadam. - Full brown leather with flap, detached; exterior decoration in block-stamping and relief embossing, central mandorla and corner pieces with trees and animal figures in gold; remainder of large panel and small border panels with floral designs in gold. Interior decoration in leather filigree gilt on black, red, green and blue background. Flap decoration identical with cover. Likely 17th century. - Illuminated collection of Jāmī's seven epic poems.
