Notlar Ms. codex.Title from colophon (fol. 551a).Copied by Mustafa bin Mehmet, called Atar Zade, and completed in the middle of Muḥarram 1124 (1712) -- colophon (fol. 551a).27 lines per page. Written in a small, fairly casual naskh in black ink with use of red for rubrication. Text is within a frame outlined in one line of red ink. Foliation in Arabic numerals in black ink. Glazed European paper. Ff. 2b-3a have a table of contents in black and red ink, and ff. 3b-4a have a blank grid for the contents outlined in red ink. Short inscriptions on front pastedown and ff. 1a-2a.Incipit: زيد مؤمن بر ا مرذى باله شروع ايتدكده نه ايله بداء ايتمك كركدر كه مبارك وكامل اولا الجوابExplicit: حد القديم ما لا يحفظ الاقران محيط برهانى لم تمنع فى باب وما لا - Brown leather with envelope flap. Blind obloid stamps in the centre of upper and lower covers and a small blind stamped mandorla on the envelope flap. Blind fillets around borders of upper and lower covers and the envelope flap. Spine and edges of covers repaired in a different brown leather. Pastedowns and lining to the envelope flap in cream paper. Lining to the fore edge flap in red grained paper. Label on the upper cover: "Thānī 466". - A collection of fetvas by Șeyhülislâm Minkarizade Yahya, collected and edited by his pupil and Șeyhülislâm himself, Mehmet Ataullah Efendi (d. 1715). This copy does not have an introductory section which appears in other copies of this collection (see Verzeichnis der Orientalischen Handschriften in Deutschland, XIII, 4, no. 80).
