Written in small taʻlīq in black ink with use of red for rubrication. Text is written inside a double line frame in red ink. Catchwords on the verso of each leaf. Glazed European paper. Ms. additions: Several lines of poetry on fol. 115b and 117a-b. Title on fol. 1a is a later addition in black ink glazed with gold glitter and is dated 29th of Dhū al-Qaʻdah 1185 (1772).Incipit: بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم مطلع انوار كلام قديم فاتحهء نسخهء توقيع دين خاتمهء راه ولا الضالينExplicit: اكا كم انس وجن اولمشدى مأمور نديمى هدهد ايدى همد مى مور - Brown leather over pasteboard. Blind and gold fillets around borders of covers. Central mandorlas on upper and lower covers, blind stamped, painted in dark brown, with gold border, small pendants and radiating sprigs around the edges. Pastedowns in marbled paper. The binding is very fragile, spine is damaged and the ms. is loose inside the covers. - An allegorical work in a combination of verse and fine prose, a free translation from Persian of "Ḥusn va dil" by Muḥammad ibn Yaḥyá Sībak Nīshābūrī (d. ca. 1448).
